Awesome events leave people who attend with a real buzz they will be talking about for ages. But how do you get started?

Running an event can be a daunting task. If you’ve never run one before, where do you start? How to find a venue? How do you tell people about it? What about the cost of the event?

Even if you have run some events, what about when you want to increase the size and scope of it? What additional risks do you need to consider? How many people do you need to help run it? What should you be doing once the event is done?

== About the training ==

In this session, we will go through the event planning cycle covering the key steps for executing successful events.

– Event preparation –event plan, budgets and timelines

– Event promotion – all of the aspects that help to sell the event, raise awareness and increase the number of attendees.

– On-site event management – making sure the big day (or days) goes without a hitch

– Post-event review – organising debriefs, data collection and reviewing
