According to research, we’ve been getting steadily less sleep over the last 70 years. It’s important to recognise how much sleep we need, what can affect sleeplessness and how this can affect our physical and mental health.
This training session will help identify these causes, recognising certain areas for improvement within ourselves, as well as provide useful advice on lifestyle changes to implement to improve our sleep, to have a direct impact on our readiness for the day ahead!
ABOUT THE TRAINER
Bev Mackfall is a sleep expert – who can sleep pretty much anywhere, anytime, whether it’s at 3pm in the afternoon, half way through a movie, or in the car on the way back from the seaside (much to the driver’s annoyance!)
All jokes aside, Bev Mackfall has developed her speaking skills by attended JCI UK’s Public Speaking Academy, JCI Official Presenter course, and LEAP Leadership training, and vocationally supports and coaches co-workers in her day to day role as a senior customer services adviser for a well known retail company. She wishes to share some recently received occupational training and knowledge about Sleep to JCI members and friends.
Please note that we sometimes take photos and video at our events. These may be used to promote JCI Barnsley and future events JCI Barnsley run. There is a consent/non-consent option on the registration form, but if you do not consent to photography, please make yourself known to the event organiser on the night, so we can endeavour to make any edits should you get caught on film.
